Accident Benefits

A type of mandatory coverage where you’re protected if you’re injured or killed in an automobile accident, no matter who is at fault. It includes supplementary medical, rehabilitation, attendant care, caregiver, non-earner and income replacement benefits.

Actual Cash Value

The actual cash value is determined by calculating the cost of replacing the property with something of a similar kind and quality, less depreciation.

Additional Living Expenses

These are expenses that you incur, over and above your ordinary living expenses, when an insured loss requires you to live temporarily outside of your home while you wait for repairs to be made.

All Perils

A combination of Collision and Comprehensive coverage that covers loss or damage caused if a person in your household steals a vehicle listed on your policy. Coverage also applies if someone like a service station employee or mechanic steals your car while driving, using, servicing or repairing it.

At-Fault Accident

The term "at-fault accident" is used when you are found to be either partially or entirely at fault in an automobile accident that results in liability to a third party, collision damage or personal injury.
