Desjardins General Insurance - Proud Partner of Climate Reality Project Canada

Desjardins General Insurance is a proud supporter of The Climate Reality Project Canada. This organization is supported by the David Suzuki Foundation and Al Gore (joint winner of the Nobel Peace Prize with the IPCC). Its mission is to raise awareness among all Canadians about the urgency of the climate crisis through conferences, training and more.

As part of our commitment to sustainable development, we want to make as many people as possible aware of the importance of taking preventive action and adopting greener habits to reduce the impacts of climate change.

Working together to slow climate change

Climate change is a major issue in society today. From torrential rain and record snowfall to wind and hail storms, the climate crisis has a direct impact on our lives.

Fortunately, we can all do something to reduce our carbon footprint:

  • The Climate Reality Project Canada offers several practical solutions at home, at work and in the community
  • Desjardins is also doing its part for sustainable development, promoting a greener, more equitable world
  • Plus, we offer auto and home insurance products and services that reward environmentally-friendly behaviour

Attend a conference inspired by Al Gore's book and documentary

To raise awareness of climate change issues among companies and organizations, The Climate Reality Project Canada's volunteer speakers, who were trained by Al Gore, present an adapted version of the presentation given in the documentary An Inconvenient Truth, based on his new book Our Choice.
