Preventing windshield damage

A few prevention tips. At first glance, it may seem difficult to prevent cracks from forming on your windshield. However, with a few preventive measures, you can reduce the risk.

Keep your distance

This will lower the risk of rocks thrown up by other vehicles from reaching your car.

Examine your windshield regularly

If your windshield has a chip, have it repaired as soon as possible no matter how small it is. This will prevent the crack from expanding and the windshield from shattering at the slightest impact. If you act quickly, you may be able to avoid having to replace your windshield, and, as a result, having to pay your deductible.
